The Challenge

To create costumes that balance historical Western authenticity with a dark, supernatural tone—visually expressing a world shaped by violence, decay, and moral ambiguity, while clearly defining each character’s identity and hierarchy.

The Approach

We combined period-accurate materials and construction with intensive aging and distressing techniques to give every piece a lived-in history. Classic Western silhouettes were reinterpreted through a darker, gothic lens, using texture, layering, and accessories to reinforce character, status, and the film’s haunting atmosphere.
